That’s what I was thinking. Of course bending down to pickup a rock might make someone more vulnerable to attack.
The cougar made several bluff charges at the hiker trying to drive him away. Those were pretty scary.
What I can’t figure out is award the end of the clip where the cougar just suddenly bolts away as if it was scared.
If you see a quarter laying on the ground and you didn’t drop it. Leave it alone. It’s bait.
