I think in many cases these women have mental issues, but are not necessarily mentally ill. In many cases, they may be trying to recapture or relive their lost youth. Also, some women NEED to be told on a regular basis that they are beautiful or sexy. If they are not hearing it from their SO, then they may fall for someone who is feeding them that line.
As I have said before, I don’t put these women in the same category as men who go after underage girls. Why? Simply because the boys they fool around with do it eagerly and look at them as trophies. [Some have suggested that underage girls have the same attitude, but I don’t buy that]
I am not implying these women are victims. They are all adults and should know better. But I do think the penalties for them hould be less severe than for a man.
I look at it from the point of a Dad. If I had an underage daughter and a grown man had sex with her (whether voluntary on her part or not)....I’d probably be considering significant revenge on the guy. If I had an underage son....while I wouldn’t high-five the kid, I wouldn’t be contemplating physical damage to the cradle-robbing female. I know that’s the wrong attitude in both cases but I’m a guy. Of course, I’d do the right and legal thing in both cases, plus I’d completely support the desires of my wife because she’s smarter than I am.
The adult in charge of professionally applying their education should have self-control whether they are male or female and get punished the same when they break the law.
Bullshit. Do the crime, do the time. The vagina defense is not a valid argument for unequal application if law.
“But I do think the penalties for them hould be less severe than for a man.”
That is crazy; she is a child molester who violated someone in her care.
What about female teachers who bed their female pupils?
Should they be legally held less culpable / given a lighter sentence?
Because it isn't "rape-rape?"
