So, some people in the white house cam chat have said the flag is not flying because the wind is calm. However, if you look at the captol building web cam there is enough wind to see those flying. The wind speed right now in D.C. is currently 4 -6 MPH south/southwest.

Unless the camera is hiding behind the pole directly going south/southwest, I do not see a flag there either. Unless the wind is calm over 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. but not over the Capitol...
