I’m listening... what do you suggest?

First, think of the GOP (national level) as a corruption machine whose function is to convert the incoming stream of Republican politicians into being “team players” who become dependent on financial and other support from the national organization. Its a little Mafia-like in the sense that it sucks people into the system with incentives and then demands loyalty from them.
Second, ask yourself what the GOP stands for. The answer is nothing. It doesn’t really have any consistent principles or convictions. All they do is try to gain and hold seats on the Hill. That’s all they do, and it enables the party apparatus to keep money flowing into it. They are not committed to shrinking the bloated government, reducing spending, or even defending our liberties. If they were, this would be reflected in their actions, which it isn’t.
If you accept the above propositions the futility of sticking with a fake party becomes obvious. The GOP is what it is and its never going to change. Party functionaries at the state and local level may be well intentioned folks who try to send the best prospects up to Washington but once they get there the indoctrination process kicks in. Good people are turned into sleazy people after they become absorbed into the heady world of DC politics. Trust me, once they make it up to the “big show” and get inducted into the “family” they change and never want to leave. Keeping their seat and climbing the ladder of seniority quickly replace any good intentions they may once have had.
My view is that we need to replace this corrupt conveyor belt with a party that is dedicated to conservative principles. I know...Trump declared he doesn’t want to start a new party and would stick with the GOP. But consider that he never understood just how vast and deep the Swamp really was. (I worked there and know exactly how it is.) I don’t think he still realizes what the true nature of the GOP is.
A new party, like a new nation, needs a foundational set of principles. We have an opportunity to do that now. Actually 75 million opportunities. Despite the obstacles I think that if a new party was launched it would decimate the GOP overnight. I mean, do you know anyone who is happy with the GOP and would be willing to remain with it when there is a more positive alternative?
When something doesn’t work its time to replace it. That’s what our Founding Fathers did.
Good people with good intent can be used by bad people with bad intent. This is true if there is a new party or not. What we seem to be missing is the leadership needs to be turned over. Not an easy process but it can be done.
We have a winner takes all system. Which means it's a two party system either the republican party must end for the new one to form. Only Trump could do that at the moment. If Trump isn't willing to do that we must reform the GOP leadership from the grass roots up.
