The secret for a pretty campfire. You don’t need to buy fancy artisan wood. A copper tube with holes drilled in it and a piece of vinyl water hose crammed inside of it produces beautiful colors when thrown into the fire.
Yesterday a friend brought over his fancy new shotgun for me to look at. What a beautiful stock that looked like some exceptional piece of tiger maple until I looked closer. It was sycamore that had been given an unbelievable artisan treatment. It sure was Purdy though, lol.
I find Sycamore to be awesome.
