Even people who have never had children should be able to comprehend that animals are not of the same worth as people. Even people without kids have had siblings, parents, spouses, friends, etc. It really makes me question the sanity of people. Yes, it’s traumatic to lose a pet and to have a pet kidnapped is terrible, but there is just no comparison. None.
