I must be the only person that thinks celebrities announce CoVid Positive results to try to avoid getting the vaccine.

My sister is getting an infusion today at 3pm because she is a high risk since she has COPD. So far she had a head cold and lost her sense of taste and smell. Hoping the infusion keeps her symptoms mild, otherwise she won’t be able to take it if her symptoms worsen.

Is she receiving antibodies in her infusion? I've heard really good things about the antibody treatments out there--some patients start feeling better before they leave the infusion room.

I wish your sister well.

Yes she’s receiving antibodies..she’s having it done right now. Thank you and for telling me what you’ve heard, gives me lots of hope. I talked to her last night and she sounded fine. She’s had her symptoms for a week already so hopefully that’s also a sign she won’t get worse. Her husband spent a month in a hospital and then rehab. Still very weak but getting around better, he’ll be 69 March 22. She’ll be 67 on March 7.

She also has degenerative bone disease, had an infusion for that a bit ago. She also hurt her left shoulder, the bones have crumbled, she would need a shoulder replacement but with her COPD and bone disease it’s highly unlikely she can have the surgery.
