Ouch. Going to be a very tough recovery in this industry. Curious as to their debt is and what the payoff period plan may be. Or may not be. Or just accepting bankruptcy and restructure of debt.

Cruises will be a thing of the past. They will never come back. The governments overplayed the pandemic fear to get control of everyone’s lives without seeing the consequeneces.
Without looking at the finances I get a feel that the lines are in debt for a minimum of 15 years. Most of us have mortgages of 20-30 years, but those loans are based on us having income to pay back the mortgage. To me the cruise lines are going to lose their past income even when allowed to cruise and will have to pay back billions of dollars in borrowed money and some Lines may have to reorganize under bankruptcy or take longer to pay back the loans. -Tom
