Funny, this was what my Grand Father taught us kids 50 years ago;
if you see a bear in the woods (Pa Black bear in this case) you make
yourself as big as possible, say in a clear voice 'Mr. Bear you go that
way and I will go this way' and slowly back away facing the bear all
the while...works every time. With a grizzly, I'm not so sure...lol
