Because we have fish here and none of them can swim to the moon where we need them to feed the colony. We cant afford to buy them tickets to get there because most fish are notoriously high maintenance and would likely demand to fly first class.
Maybe we can make a gigantic fish gate to the sky since the flat earth doesn’t rotate and it’s closer than we think? Maybe the cow that jumped over the moon can help assuage the high costs? Can fish survive on a green cheese diet?
Just questions scientists should consider...
