Tiger Woods was hospitalized after being involved in a single-car accident in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning. The extent of any potential injuries, as well as the circumstances of the accident, remain unclear.
Woods, 45, was in California for a two-day content shoot with Golf Digest/GOLFTV after serving as host for the PGA Tour's Genesis Invitational over the weekend. Pictures surfaced on social media of Woods smiling with Dwayne Wade and David Spade at Rolling Hills Country Club on Monday, but with his movement still restricted, he did not hit balls or play any holes. The shoot involved Woods giving on-course lessons to a number of celebrities, but he mostly provided instruction and hit a few putts. He was in good spirits on Monday but did not arrive to the course for the second day of shooting.
On Sunday, Woods told CBS’ Jim Nantz that he was awaiting the results of an upcoming MRI before he could ramp up practicing and training for a return to competition.
Woods last competed alongside his son at the PNC Championship, which finished on Dec. 20 in Orlando. He then underwent a microdiscectomy procedure to remove a pressurized disc fragment that was pinching a nerve. It was his fifth back surgery overall and the first since his spinal fusion in April 2017.

Reading comprehension is not your strong suit. I never said Duval patterned his swing after Woods. Enough already. We are entirely clear that you prefer your Democrat buddy David Duvall.
I could crank the ball about 300 years in my twenties and early thirties, if I wanted too. But the swing was so aggressive, accuracy was sacrificed.
I’m about 5’8, and credit the distance to my flexibility and the power in my legs. And technique, a perfect draw with a great top spin.
Being smaller, it was fun out driving everyone I golfed with. For a while, my golf buddies called me Tiger. Many times I hit par five greens in two strokes. Moon shots with the irons.
Now, I just thank god can play, hit it 250 down the middle and concentrate on the score. If the temp gets down under 60, my back will cramp.
I wonder what part global warming played in this crash. He wasn’t driving a green EV.
1588Kg x 35.66m/s = 56,628 Kg.m/s
That is a log of momentum.
Even worse, Tiger took out an 8” diameter tree.
Clearly, before his PED/Steroid/Canadian “doctor” period...
Glad Tiger survived this. He'd surely been killed had he struck one of those large power poles lining that stretch of Hawthorne. Those are the poles that carry high voltage to Palos Verdes.. Extremely lucky he missed those!
He almost always drives himself. Probably texting the course to say he'd be late for the photo shoot....Extremely careless, a big mistake that will probably be career ending, all but a few appearances for show.
I recall Vijay Singh was criticized for taking something akin to eye of newt or rhinoceros testicles. What was it?
If accurate, that certainly explains a few things.
It is kind of funny how Mark McGuire and Jose Conseco were vilified, but Tiger, deified.
In his peak years, he was spitting on the green, next to the hole, where others would have the ball roll through. Pretty disgusting. I bet he didn’t do that before steroids.
Your witty and intellectually insightful posts are duly noted. /s
Good grief...are you denying Tiger used/cheated with PED/Steroids?
Thank you. I surely hope that you can find it in your itty bitty tiny heart to have some compassion for a man who nearly lost his life yesterday. Seems that is expecting too much. Sad.
LOL!
Even your reply of twisting my words was indicative of a limited intellect with a bit of Alinsky in style.
I posted Tiger’s record of cheating - PED/Steroid with help of a crooked Canadian “doctor” as well as his personal cheating in his marriage - was the definition of a despicable human being.
That you continue to avoid those factual truths would indicate your devotion to “tiger the god”.
Sad.
I posted NOTHING about the wreck...so get your story straight....you’re sounding like one of those Quooks.
The Meaning of Grace - Devotional. What have you learned from that topic?
This thread is about Tiger's motor vehicle accident. Pay attention.

LOL!
Your narrow mind & thought process is distorting reality.
Many of us on the thread spoke of tiger’s cheating.
Stay focused...unless you are god and controlling all threads & discussions.
Juan More time: Are YOU denying tiger cheated - both in golf w/PED/Steroids and as an adulterer?
Now slither back under your rock and cease with your childish stalking.

Upon looking closer at the details of the accident, the first thing I noticed was the distance the sign traveled and the time it had to fall. I think my first estimates do not add up. For one thing, the sign landed about the distance between the two power poles, which I estimate to be 100 feet apart. The sign had one set of the two posts still in the ground. I believe that post was about 4 feet high—not the 5 feet I first estimated. It had .5 seconds to fall 4 feet (Newtons law). For it to travel 100 feet in .5 seconds would mean it was traveling 200 feet per second or, 136 miles per hour. Something (Tiger’s windshield) had to propel it further to increase the distance traveled or interrupt it’s rate of decent.
your narrow mind and thought process is distorting the reality that you’re attacking the person who posted this thread...
their responding to your posts is not stalking you...
stay focused...
