Statistics don't lie
Liars use statistics...
People believe this crap. I’ve had more than one person I know look at me and say with a straight face, must be the masking and sanitizing.
If mask-wearing leads to zero flu deaths, why doesn’t it work with roma deaths? See the logical fallacy.
Wearing a mask is always a personal option. What they mean is "mandatory" mask wearing.
It’s so weird that the coronavirus surge and decline in the US occurred during the normal flu season...
“Vaccine works!”
All you have to do is believe!
news flash: living causes death. To avert death—end life. /sarc
COVID is the apex predator in the world of flu germs.
How spiritually bankrupt does a person have to be to embrace masking their face ?
Robots of the world.....unite !
They really DO think we’re stupid.
If the “pandemic” ever ends and the flu and colds are back just attribute any death because of them to something else, perhaps auto accidents! I mean it works the other way, all deaths during “pandemic” are the result of covid19, or so we have been told. /s
Sounds like the lumped any flu cases over into covid to me...
Amazing what happens when you don’t test for something...
The masks are not what is causing this, nor are the lockdowns causing this.
Science tells us many things. First, that the flu is about the same size as COVID, so masks block the flu about as well as they block COVID, which for surgical masks, and for the way most people wear masks, is not very much.
Second, the primary point of masks is to keep coughing and sneezing from spreading germs widely; this would apply equally to COVID and the Flu.
COVID is also not that much more infectious than the flu. Flu is between 1 and 2, and Covid between 2 and 3, although finding it closer to 2, or maybe a bit smaller.
Point being, if the masks were able to completely wipe out the flu, they would also almost completely wipe out COVID — but they did no such thing, COVID exploded in places wearing masks, while Flu dissappeared.
There is a scientific process not quite explained, where one infectious disease essentially blocks out others. That is what scientists think happened with COVID> It’s not that COVID exposure protects you from the flu, since they are not yet willing to admit many of us already have t-cell immunity, even though that is how a rational person would interpret that drop-off that started in January.
It’s simply that the world won’t support two infectious diseases.
IN most cases, what they see is that, occasionally, a new strain of flu will appear, and at the same time, the old strain will completely disappear.
What I have seen since November, is that a lot of conservative news sources are crossing over in to using current conspiracy spreading techniques. Take a sensational story, run with it, drop it it for a while, then rewrite it and run it again a few times. The fact the original story was false gets forgotten. Remember the Scytl servers in Germany? I do. This story is following that pattern.
The flu kills between 10,000 to 30,000 in the U.K (2013 to 2018) and 10,000 to 60,000 in the U.S annually (since 2010). In 2020 Covid killed 73,500 in the U.K. and 350,000 in the U.S. In the first two months of this year, Covid has killed over 150,000 in the U.S., at lteast twice as many who die annually from the flu. If Covid is really misidentified flu as Knut Wittkowski says, then please explain how the flu is killing several times as many people than normal in so many countries with a virus whose genome is clearly is not any flu virus.
This type of claim started when Zerohedge published a article about the U.S. flu season last December December, that has since been archived, and now gets a 404 error. Which I find interesting, since Zerohedge doesn't make it clear what subscription gets access to the archive.
What that article did was misrepresent the CDC's aggregation of weekly flu data and ignore that there is yearly variation of the flu. Looking at the CDC's ILI Map (Influenza Like Illness), the November to February periods of 2008/2009, 2011/2012 were November to February periods that had low flu seasons compared to other years. The total number of flu cases is a statistical estimate based of all the data. Using medical testing alone badly under represents all flu cases.
This article is misrepresenting the UK flu data in the exact same way. Just like the CDC, The U.K. has its own weekly reporting on flu and Covid cases, Official Statistics National flu and COVID-19 surveillance reports . The latest report, National flu and COVID-19 surveillance report: 18 February 2021 (week 7) (government agencies everywhere love long titles), does show the actual lab testing is low, however the evidence of flu cases is more than just lab tests when reading through these reports.
