So I came back from grocery store grouchy and tired. My underwear and pants falling off, no in store coupons printed, banged my elbow and arm on plastic shield putting groceries on the checkout, and then they charged me for large avocados instead of small!
Threw out my underwear, but I did wait till I got home, guess I need to buy non stretch denim pants or something, took picture of missing coupon and it worked, too tired to get avocado justice.

...so my wife and I are picking up a few groceries in East TN this morning, and a woman approaches us in the parking lot after we come out. Although she can't (or won't) speak English, she present a 4 x 6 index card detailing her woes in English...'unemployed...three starving children...needs money (specifically $20..), yada, yada. Fortunately, I do not trust ANYONE (was she from the CDC?), and we kept her at a distance. My wife (who is a bit more compassionate) wanted to know if I wanted to give her money. My response? HELL, NO! We shooed her away, and went about our business. My only regret was not going back in to the store so they could get her off the property before she wound up robbing somebody.

My question...do Freepers (or anyone else) run into this very often in border states? (Of course, we are ALL border states now.) I found it interesting that this happens just as the 'stimulus' money is hitting the banks in East TN.

Oh Rusty.....you poor dear! I’m glad you had the good sense to toss your drawers after you got home. You need to sit and have a nice glass of wine with CB and me. I’d pour for you if I was there!

I HATE that! Our local food city is notorious for not ringing the sale price on items. It’s annoying to have to stand in the customer service line after picking out and then buying stuff.
