The rollout of the much-anticipated 2021 Ford Bronco Sport has hit a speed bump.
Ford announced on Thursday it is recalling 1,666 Bronco Sport models over rear-suspension components that may not be properly attached, just months after delivering the first vehicles in late 2020.

I guess that it what I saw on the road yesterday, my buddy and I agreed it looked like a Kia shortage. Was hoping for something cooler. Had a similar reaction when I saw my first PT cruiser on the road.
The Big Three sure have gotten used to producing crap. Toyota or Honda or even Mazda are the best of today’s vehicles, generally speaking.
Wasn’t Lordstown a GM plant?
Should have never sold it...
I do still have a 1961 VW two-door truck though...I drove that puppy to Baja many times...in the 70's..
Prolly worth 60-70 grand nowadays...
But Bronco would command more....
I shipped tons of Molten’s rubber components to Ford Hermosillo in the nineties.
Yes, now it is Lordston motors and they are trying to hawk electric trucs.
They don’t even have a prototype, it’s a damn joke but idiots are investing in it.
VW suspensions rock
Westphalia camper guy here.
Here’s something for you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wt6El-6NscA
Nope, its made in mexico
UAW-built, no surprise.
I would rather have one from the late 60’s with a supped up 289 in it.
I am aware of that...my point is that the workforce determines the quality of the vehicle..
Hamtramack assembly is another one..
Avon lake is another one..
Belleville is yet another one..
Chicago assembly has an excellent workforce, as does lansing grand river..
“May not be properly attached”? LOL!
The union and greed destroyed them.
“Lordstown has been closed for years.”
Gotta keep up with the times, guy!
I’ve owned 4 ford vehicles. All bought brand new. The last 2 didn’t even get to 60k miles before the engine blew. I am DONE with ford, forever!
I had one fiat. When they joke that it means “Fix It Again Tony”, they ain’t joking. I was so glad I got rid of that car.
Started having all sorts of electrical problems with a GM. Phantom sort of stuff. Seemed to happen around the same time I kept getting ads from GM for an extended warranty. It’s got onstar, you know, they can start the vehicle, unlock doors from remote location. Ignored the ads. They eventually quit pestering me about it. AND... VOILA! The electrical magically went away. Well, what do you know!
Keep hiring based upon skin color & lack of education & other skills.
Henry Ford would shut down the plant.
I wonder of anyone today remembers the story about Mr Kohler???
What happened with Mr. Kohler?
