De Blasio can’t make the “staring you in the face” correct decision about the remaining SIX WEEKS of a simple ice skating rink contract on his first try. He needs a mulligan. Yet he is responsible for the decisions on a daily basis that will affect New Yorkers for years to come. When our founding fathers established our republic, surely they never imagined that citizens would elect morons like De Blasio and Coumo.

Would it be correct to say that deBlasio was in charge of deciding when to finally close the NYC subways for cleaning? Well after the pandemic began in New York City, many fewer people were riding the subways but they ran far fewer subway cars so they were still grounded. They also did not have any history of shutting down the NYC subways for a thorough cleaning and did not do so for at least several weeks into the spread of the virus.

This is probably just another example of New York incompetence that will be down the Memory Hole.
