Just by reading his profile on Wiki, Lassiter sounds like a major a-hole.
I used to watch Crossfire EVERY NIGHT. I absolutely hated the format - yelling and overtalking - but I watched it because it was the only place on TV where I could actually hear a conservative point of view. I would also watch the Sunday McLaughlin show so I could see another half hour with a few conservative thoughts. When Rush started his TV show, I actually put in a large satellite dish, just to hear him. I felt silly during the void space where local stations would have space to put in their ads, but the satellite feed went black. I would sit in front of a black TV screen watching absolutely nothing.
That all ended when Fox News came along (and Rush’s TV show went away). I have never watched CNN for other than an occasional bit of comic relief ever since since. It’s too bad that Fox News has blown that off lately.
This clip has simply reinforced why I will never intentionally watch CNN again. I couldn’t even force myself to watch the third segment, even though Rush was on. The format is just too horrible, for me.
