On 2nd thought, I'm not crazy about the green in the lower photo. It's the top one that I was really referring to. My brother had a good friend who had this exact same car and color ('68 Grand Prix). The lower photo is of a LeMans. Both from Pontiac.

I'm not saying those shades of green are all that bad, just reporting on what my peers said about them, and it stuck with me.

My dad, rest his soul, never owned an interesting car in his entire life. It just wasn't a priority for him.

I've only ever owned one green car and that was British Racing Green. Wish I still had it!

My biggest gripe is that virtually every car you see now is black, gray/silver, white, or a variation of those. Very boring!

My brother never was a car person either, but somehow he ended up with a ‘66 Barracuda. He didn’t understand why people kept trying to buy it from him!
