I really don't know anything about normal SCOTUS working protocols - but I suspect that is not what is in evidence now. I suspect that CJ John Roberts is somehow dominating by holding these decisions close to his vest - a fellow traveler who expects to really prosper if the widespread ongoing coup d'etat prevails.

Starts of by mentioning that Kav and Barrett both have a bunch of children... Hopefully we will eventually know more. Whatever the machinery, I don’t think it actually a setback to have SCOTUS refuse to hear these cases. In a sense bad, but in another sense, it reveals the inability of anyone/anything to fix the massive corruption crowned with stolen elections other than the military.
