The average person who dies from COVID-19 would have lived another 16 years, new research has found.

Researchers looked at data on 1.28 million confirmed deaths linked to the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which has killed about twice that many in the past year.

Comparing it to life expectancy data across the 81 countries where the deaths took place, they calculated around 20.5 million years of life had been wiped out - between two and nine times more years than were lost to seasonal influenza in that same time.

Three-quarters of all years of life lost resulted from deaths of people aged under 75, and men have lost 45 percent more years of life than women, the study found.

South Park is set to simulcast a second, hour-long coronavirus pandemic special on both MTV2 and Comedy Central, on March 10, according to a report.

The second coronavirus special will be entitled “South ParQ The Vaccination Special” and will feature a militant group that terrorizes the boys’ school to prevent teachers from getting the coronavirus vaccination, Deadline reported.

This latest coronavirus special comes almost five months after the 2020 season opener, entitled South ParQ The Pandemic Special, aired on Set. 30, ahead of the long-running show’s 24th season.

In last year’s coronavirus special, Randy found that pot sales were climbing during the pandemic. At the same time, Cartman railed about returning to in-person schooling and the “slavery” of the classroom as police officers replaced his teachers.

That's crap. This must have been done purely on their age. With all the co-morbidities most "COVID victims" had, their statistical life expectancy would have been much less average.

Cuomo IS a murderer.

Yes, Cuomo is a murderer. But don't forget, it was China who unleashed the virus on the world. It was our government that partially paid for the development of that virus.

Thanx for that. There is a link to the study in the article. Grains of salt needed.

https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-021-83040-3#:~:text=In%20total,%2020,507,518%20years%20of,per%20death%20is%2016%20years

The study is ongoing:

"Attempts to estimate total excess mortality related to the COVID-19 are underway, and emphasized as an important measure"

This article does say "As such, we focus on premature mortality here."

They do not take into consideration co-morbidity and they also don't say this study is of those that died of COVID only

"Second, those dying from COVID-19 may be an at-risk population whose remaining life expectancy is shorter than the average person’s remaining life expectancy16,17,18. This methodological concern is likely to be valid, and consequently our estimate of the total YLL due to COVID-19 may be an overestimate. "

Hello, McFly...

Gee, that kinda flies in the face of the 6% reported from Dr Bricks.

Who are these men, a bunch of chain-smoking beached-whales?
