Being the personification of a C_A guy from conception, Barry has long reflexively given his urgent, politically-related ideas over to the Agency for fulfillment. In complementary fashion, people like his Agency Director, Brennan, would be at the ready to make sure the Barry narrative stayed the planned course.
...which is not to say that JOB and crew were particularly good at covering for the ephemeral Barry, without leaving clues. You point to one with CIA asset, "Loretta Fuddy's" five different causes of death (CsOD) The CsOD officially changed six times, serially. Indeed, it was well beyond strange. It was planned.
One reasonable view that coincidentally fits within the limitations of their trade-craft, is that these miscues are purposeful, to keep researchers, journalists and reviewers bickering about which of the Agency's lies might best represent the Truth. Honest exposure of the evidence would conveniently give rise to dis-information-spreading "debunkers" using the standard, obfuscatory playbook to lay down a smoke-screen attempting to paint a narrative that researchers "can't box their way out of the bag they're in."
To me the Fuddy "change of ID op" was a complete disaster from start to finish.
Things were getting hot for ozero,obama,or whomever the hell he really is. A man (half black half oriental) with numerous social security cards and legends of his birth, made this CIA job little more than just another complex company op. It was done by the usual suspects plus those that they farm stuff out to.
Anyone that thinks a company op has but one goal has not looked into how they operate. They have multiple goals for each and every op from Seth Rich, Epstein(who didn't kill himself), 911 or Charlottesville, take your pick.They all have multiple goals.
The CIA from what I have seen,read, is more and more reluctant to do their own dirty work. They, like the vampires they are, shy away from any light on what they really do. They have so much dark money from various enterprises, everything from human smuggling to guarding the poppy fields of Afghanistan to helping destroy countries like in Libya and calling it "Arab Spring" to making sure their product gets to market. They have to keep the junkies happy from the streets of NYC, Chicago to LA.
They are a busy lot. Every once in a while doing something good for the homeboys instead of their deep state masters, just to look good once in a while.
Island help, no matter where you are, in the Keys some Caribbean island or Hawaii is often somewhat less than spectacularly competent. The company found that out the hard way. Everything that could fall apart did during their change Fuddys ID op did and more.
