Are these "one person in a room" and "closed waiting rooms" ever going to end?
Doctors, dentists, specialty clinics, everywhere, people or carers are waiting in cars for their spouses, teens, elderly charges. It is just making me more and more frustrated.
I selfishly rescheduled my dog's appointment with her ophthalmologist, because I didn't want to wait in a snow-covered parking lot in 20 degree weather. It's bad enough that you have to hand your dog over to the vet tech and then talk to the veterinarian over the phone, but to get hypothermia at the same time? Luckily, it's just a six-month check-up and her eye looks fine.

I heard at the hearing aid place (haha see what I did there?? And yes I AM getting old lol) that they heard it may be ending and same at the doctor today. Who knows?? At the hearing aid place, one gal was wearing 2 masks.. I saw that today, too. And I just kept thinking about “mask mouth”. (then I secretly hoped that the double maskers would get mask mouth, have all their teeth pulled and need dentures) and THAT wasn’t nice of me at all.
I don’t blame you one bit for rescheduling. My vet is pretty good about one of us being in the room.
