I live in SE Pa. While there’s no room around here for them, upstate has quite a few acres of “game land” that could be used.
I don’t know if that area was part of the Buffalo’s natural habitat before the arrival and settlement of Europeans. But, you might consider contacting the government entity that has jurisdiction over the land you’re referring to and inquire about this. Ask if they’ve ever considered relocating a small herd to the area. If they say no, then ask why not? I’m curious as to what their response might be. Please post your findings for us. Good Luck, SB
