Would you mind sharing where you live, just a general area, not specific? The reason I ask is here in Texas I drive by a couple of ranches that have Buffalo. And, frequently there are folks pulled off the road standing by the fence taking photos. I don’t know whether any of these Buffalos wind up on a dinner plate or not. But, they must be managed in order to maintain a healthy population. A side note; this is done to manage a healthy deer population as well. Some years it’s ok to take two doe’s and sometimes not. Some years eight point minimum required, and so on. Anyway, suggest you read up on the topic if interested.
