My parents only let us have oatmeal or eggs with a side of bacon or sausage or this ham called “Canadian” bacon. Once in a while we were treated to a sugary cereal like Raisin Bran or Corn Flakes, but only as part of this important nutritious breakfast of eggs.

Oh, and pancakes with bacon or sausage.
