Rush on Donahue's show in 1992.
One hour of pure gold from Rush. Watching Phil's and the crowd's reaction is pure entertainment.
It’s surprising that the issues have not changed much in 29 years.
Watched it-very good. Too many of the women, like Donahue, just didn’t like him. You could see it. He makes a point and they personally attack him. No real response on his point. Donahue gave him the time but you could see his reluctance.
No they haven’t....and Rush is consistent then as he was even in his final year.
I just don’t see why so many women who couldn’t stand him would show up all dressed up. His age + small room.
I had forgotten how overweight he was once upon a time.

This episode was my first exposure to Rush. Back then my friend John and I would often discuss politics. On a couple of occasions, he told me “there’s this guy on the radio named Rush Limbaugh. You should listen to him, you would like what he has to say.” I said “Yeah, yeah, I’ll have to check out his show sometime. One day I was in the gym, where they had TVs mounted on the wall. The sets were tuned to the Phil Donahue Show. Donahue announced that his guest that day was Rush Limbaugh, which immediately got my attention. After watching Rush on the show and seeing how he was driving Donahue and the audience nuts, I became a fan from then on.

Rush was too smart for them, even when they all ganged up on him.
The only good thing about donohue was his hair.
Donahue was pretty fair, despite his disfavor of Rush. So consistent so sure and true to his beliefs to the end. What a lovable little fuzz ball, loved him, miss him so.
Phil Donahue was and is one of the biggest, uninformed dopes on the planet.
I remember seeing his show as a young’un and not liking him. Couldn’t articulate it back then but I knew the guy didn’t agree with what I was thinking at the time.

Really? The arm-waving and pre-question commentary were pure leftist gobbledygook.
Donahue did give him ample speaking time to respond though, so that might be as fair as you’re going to get.
My mother watched Donahue and NEVER missed a show. I could never stand that man.
I watched a lot of Donahue when he was on.
YouTube used to let you skip through those beginning ads.
