Neither. Control of the entire US voting system IS the key to Democrats’ 2022 success and 2024, 2026, 2028, etc.
Let’s see what’s on Democrats’ agenda now before 2022. Right now COVID-19 bill. I assume they will pass it by March. Then immigration bill. By that time, I expect Breyer to announce his retirement. He’s 82, will be 83 by August. At some point they will consider DC statehood and Puerto Rico bills. But I think that will be after the August recess. We haven’t even talked about the Green New Deal and Gun Control bills yet. I think Biden is waiting for a horrific shooting before he takes the offensive on the 2nd amendment. I’m sure they will eventually get to the Green New Deal. It’s not high enough of a priority yet. Oh. Reparations for African-Americans. They will do that somewhere sometime soon.
