Loved Rod Stewart in his prime but seeing him perform as an 80-year-old has no appeal to me. Same goes with any rock stars that get north of say 60 years old. My wife dragged me to a Neil Diamond concert at Madison Square Garden a few years back. It was not like a Neil Diamond Concert in 1975, I can tell you that.

There comes a time when you just need to kick back on a sunny beach and cash your royalty checks. Let the younger folks grab the spotlight.
