I don’t even know what’s different about this one except it has better sensors, cameras, etc. And that’s irrelevant until it completes some of its exploration missions. I may be getting old. I’m not impressed by the UPS truck any more, but I am impressed with some of the stuff it delivers. I see this as the UPS truck. Let me know when they open some of the packages it delivers.
FWIW, I think it’s about the striving for something.
I was around for the Apollo program.
We were a stronger, healthier, more vibrant country and culture because of it.
I’m not saying we should spend like drunken sailors, or that NASA is perfect, but we need to explore.
