Actually, already landed, or not...
Time lag and all, radio delay mars to earth
It generally takes about 5 to 20 minutes for a radio signal to travel the distance between Mars and Earth, depending on planet positions.

Listening to NASA live — they’re stammering from excitement!

Sounds like it’ll be at least 10 minutes before they know anything and can start breathing normally again.

Couldn’t be more exciting if we were landing people there. As it is, we are landing our minds.
