Where in Oregon, if you don’t mind my asking? I remember some pretty good ice storms in Portland and the Willamette Valley when I was young, seems like practically every winter. Sure is pretty with a half-inch or more of glass-clear ice coating everything, but devastating to trees and wires. We used to get out our ice skates and skate around the neighborhood. It was hilly enough there so that driving was out of the question.
A buddy of mine in Woodburn had a tree come down on the powerlines 4 days ago, still no juice. The ice storm hit the Willamette valley pretty hard.
