Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Behind ‘Anti-Racist’ Math Push
Liberal education collective claims asking students to show work is racist
A radical new push to purge math curricula of allegedly racist practices like showing your work and finding the correct answer is bankrolled by one of the nation's most prominent nonprofits: the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
The Gates Foundation is the only donor mentioned on the homepage of A Pathway to Equitable Math Instruction, a group of 25 education organizations whose curriculum states that asking students to show their work and find the right answer is an inherently racist practice.
Over the past decade, the Gates Foundation has given upward of $140 million to some of the groups behind Pathway, whose antiracist resources are the basis for a new teacher training course offered by the Oregon Department of Education.
The Education Trust, a California-based group that promoted the September release of Pathway's antiracist "toolkit," has received $86 million from the Gates Foundation, including a $3.6 million grant awarded in June.
Teach Plus, another group dedicated to creating an antiracist culture in K-12 schools, has received more than $27 million from the Gates Foundation. The group's board members include former Democratic congressman George Miller and Obama-era secretary of education John King Jr.—who is also the president of The Education Trust.

So true; the enemies of America are within, and they are dismantling the country. The overreaching federal gubmint is trying to erase the distinctions between the remaining “free” states and those already set up with nanny-state government and regulations (read: restrictions). When you watch the flight of business and wealth from the latter to the former, you understand why.
Can’t tell who’s worse, Gates or Soros. I’m leaning toward Gates being more evil.

Understandable; I don’t know how else to stop the gradual encroachment of federal authority over states’ rights. After the slavery issue, it arose again with the federal overreach on abortion.
The US has embraced insanity. The results are obvious.
Skin color does not determine your math skills, your parents do. Math isn’t racist- but it is brutally discriminatory by parenting styles. Some parents teach their kids to engage in math at an early age while others put them in front of a tv.
CRT and BLM are deliberately designed to deny that culture has any influence on outcomes.
I can’t even begin to imagine raising a family in this day and age. My heart and my prayers go out to anybody trying to reach that American dream in this present political climate.

It is tough, and younger people with no recollection of better times don’t believe the old system works. They’ll never know the job security Americans in the private sector enjoyed when we didn’t just open the borders and flood the labor force with foreign scabs...

If the consequences weren’t so dire, it would be almost tempting to sit back and watch the left turn themselves into a pretzel trying to explain the disaterous outcome.
Right; on a smaller scale, we get to watch their strongholds go broke and unravel - but the problems are coming to the rest of us as well.

Right - and that is exactly what is happening in NJ (and the NYC metro area). A few years back, the wealthiest resident of NJ moved to Florida and the state had to revise its budget - because it built in a LOT of money it expected to wring from him in taxes, and only half would be coming.

In my city, the fools that be, attempted to track down any business transactions that may have been done at restaurants.
For instance, If an audit produced knowledge of business writes offs in a city restaurant, then the city was demanding tax revenue for the business transaction which was signed within city limits even though both parties may have resided outside city limits.
As a result, many firms canceled reservations and conventions within city limits. Thus, creating loss of revenue for the restaurant and hence, by extension loss of taxation revenue to the city.
I think cuomo attempted a similar threat in NYC, once he drove the wealth out of NY.
