I went to a lot of concerts in the mid 90’s. Lollapalooza music festival tickets cost about $40; today $350. The clubs in NYC were super cheap. I saw a Shed Seven at the old CBGB’s for under $10. $15 was the usual rate for concerts. The highest I paid was $20 each to see Blur and then Radiohead at the Roseland Ballroom.

Two years ago I went to see Depeche Mode at Mohegan Sun with my daughter; tickets cost almost $300. (I had seen them 10 years prior for $80). Fantastic seats, but what a price!
