I loved Rush in any era, but I have to say the best days were during the Clinton administration.

The Jocelyn Elders updates along with others still make me smile. Rush was always insightful with a keen wit, but he was NEVER more effective than when he made fun of them.

I have been so depressed today like losing a member of my family, after 25+ years I will never hear him on the radio again having a hard time with that fact!!!

Thanks for mentioning the updates; those were always great. I think it was the hilarious environmental updatse where the intro had Slim Whitman singing Una Paloma Blanca while you hear explosions and gunfire and bombs whistling through the air. So over the top that I can still hear it in my head.

Did she have a theme song? She sure gave him a lot of material - "every child a planned and wanted child" and "I'm a big fan of Eric Clapner." Rush always nailed the voice imitations, especially Elders and Clinton ("The buck never got here"). (I like listening to Ben Shapiro, but he can't do voices to save his life, and he really needs to just stop trying.}
