Former President Trump joins Fox News to discuss Rush Limbaugh's media legacy. Limbaugh died at age 70 after a battle with lung cancer.
Rush Limbaugh, “Maha Rushie”, gone much too soon. But perhaps he has inspired a whole generation of disciples, more than any can imagine, and his words will ring down through the future history still to be written.
Rush could expostulate almost endlessly, without notes and never repetitively, as more and more of his wisdom continued to gush all the time he was speaking, which made for uncommonly entertaining radio at the same time he was weaving a whole revelation of the honest history of our times. And unbelievably, three hours each afternoon had suddenly evaporated, and he was out of broadcast time with his stack of stuff still not exhausted.
In the end, was Rush ever wrong in his assessments and predictions? Well, yeah, but he was right some 99.87% of the time (or whatever the running figure was). But he never obsessed about it, just made the running corrections as necessary and with full explanation, transparent as always.
Good interview, although I didn’t like how Harris kept interrupting Bill’s questions.

Yes, that was irritating. However, Harris liked Limbaugh. She had met and spoken with him at length at some Kansas City sports event, and sat next to him at it. She praised him and was sincere about it, which took me by surprise. I was equally surprised when Bill Hemmer said he had attended Rush’s wedding to Katherine. Hemmer is a closet conservative (it slips out periodically when he gives an opinion), and he’s also a very religious Catholic.
I heard Rove say he and his wife had gone to the wedding, too.
RIP Rush, but what is this FOXNEWS thingee. Couldn’t Trump find a respectable outlet for his eulogy.
Bless his heart. He just couldn’t live anymore. It was his time to go. I will miss his voice very much.
Just wow! Here today, gone tomorrow. Trump out, now Rush out. Rest in peace Rush! The end of an era. New people will take over. Todd Herman has grown on me. Him and Mark Steyn should divide up the Rush Limbaugh duties. With appearances by that young guy who has been on a few times, subbing in the last two months.
