The guy is on point about the complexity issues.

He complained about increasing complexity and also lack of maintainability. If something is going to evolve and move forward, it will get more complex. That is the nature of evolution.

Also, by definition, you cannot have stable maintainability if a project is evolving and getting more complex. It seems like he wants everything to just be perfect all the time.

Yeah... Like MS updates... on a 18 gig OS that is lucky to even work when patched up. Always perfect... :)
