Representatives Jim Jordan (R-OH), Devin Nunes (R-CA), Rodney Davis (R-IL) and James Comer (R-KY)
are asking Speaker Pelosi to explain her decision to deny tax-paid National Guard support on January 4th.

The DC mayor was trying to get approval to move the National Guard troops for which she had already gained authority for use in downtown security and traffic control. They could not be moved to the Federal ground until the Pentagon had sign off by 2 top level Administration people. Apparently this was something that President Trump had put in place a little earlier. Mayor Bowser also arranged for NG sent by VA and MD governors to be set up in the DC Armory until the Pentagon release for use at the Capitol was approved. Pelosi had nothing to do with making this happen or not happen. Leadership of the Senate and House did have authority with the Capitol Police. Somebody messed up royally there. Why have 2 Capitol Police committed suicide?
