my wife had COVID in January. she had a runny nose. seriously. never had so much as a temp.
I have seen a lot of Covid come through my ER. Most of it was pretty mild. Occasionally though, you would get someone with an SPO2 of 60-70% and looking real bad. Some of these people ended up intubated within 15-30 minutes of arrival. Can you imagine that? Go to the ER and the Doc says he needs to put you top sleep so he can put a tube down your throat to help you breathe and there’s a chance that this is the last time you’ll ever lay your eyes on anyone in the land of the living. I saw more than a few times. I do not want Covid. I do not want to be in that situation. I picked my poison and took the vaccine. I was in the front of the line even.

My friend wasn’t. He died.
