I’ve never seen any support for using large doses of Vitamin C for COVID in the literature so I’m not sure why they even did this part of the study.
If they did not understand that Zinc is a positive charged ion and does not pass through cell membranes easily by itself then they don’t know basic biochemistry. The use of ionophores like quercetin or HCQ is needed to bring the intercellular concentrations of Zinc high enough to boost the immune system. Also 50mg of Zinc is well below the 250mg dose used successfully by Dr. Zelenko and others.
I don’t think these researches knew what they were doing.
90% better chance they knew exactly what they doing. Intentional sabotage.
“I don’t think these researches knew what they were doing.”
They know what they’re doing. They’re doing idiotic redundant research to get grants akin to “the study of beer to explore the possibility of it really getting you drunk”.
