I thought that Comet was debunked? As I understand it, they asked the owner and he said: “No, we don’t have a pedophile ring in our basement” - so therefore everything else related to that was debunked (including all of the DNC e-mails that were never otherwise explained), unless I missed something.

They don't really seem that concerned about their theory suggesting that we are now 10X more likely to be hit by a world-shattering comet than previously estimated.
They are so interested in coming up with new science that they don't care about the implications.
Kind of creepy. Not Nazi experiments on prisoners level creepy, but creepy nevertheless.
