The same article could have been written in the 1980s. This is not new at all. If a country test only the smart people, then their averages and distribution will be higher than nations that are willing to give more people a chance. The U.S. is one of the countries willing to give anyone a chance. So a wider range of people take IQ tests here, and that lowers our scores.
