Translation: “You know you are going to have to watch at least one of these sappy and predictable movies today, so here are the least bad options. Good luck.”
Father of the Bride does feature really good performances by Steve Martin and Martin Short.

Thanks! Maybe I’d try that While You Were Sleeping, I could see that being a perfect Sandra Bullock vehicle.

I always liked “So I married an axe murderer.” It’s good for a laugh.

NOT CASABLANCA.
My GF already hated me last week when she suggested for tonight. WHY?
Because Inga made Rick look like a wimp, crying over a woman. And it also shows Inga manipulated Rick to take her back, even though she’s married, just to get her and her husband to the States. So just like Scarlet O Hara to Rhett Butler in Gone With the Wind, both women use men to get what they want. But in the end, both dudes didnt fall for their traps.
Yup, My GF hated my explanation lol

Can Die Hard be considered a rom com as well as a Christmas movie? After all John does it all for Holly. :)

“NOT CASABLANCA.”
We watched “To Have and Have Not” instead. Much better ending.
