Doesn’t that allow them to cheat by adjudication? I seem to recall a video of poll workers feverishly filling in the circles on ballots. I could be wrong.

Blank, or ballots not completely filled out..
Your ballot will be completely filled out..
All they can do is throw it away..
TX requires write-in candidates to be registered as such.
