All Trump has to do is snap his fingers and declare a third party snd the GOP is dead. Sure, the third party won’t win, but it will destroy the GOP. As a matter of fact, I would bet it gets more votes than the GOP.
But that would be a spiteful thing to do. Instead, it appears that Trump is prepared to fight for the GOP to change so long as it preserves and champions the movement.

You can nuke a RINO by voting Democrat. It is easy. Then work in two years for decent MAGA replacement. It’s the only way to be sure.
The GOP has a lot of machinery in place, a running automobile.
Instead of making a new one from scratch, can grab that one, and "restore" it.
However, it is going to need a lot of dismantling, sanding, sand blasting the frame, going through the driveline, and then a new paint job.
