I think maybe will end up like my Amazon Fire phone

Does that phone have to be authenticated as an Amazon device like their FireTV or tablets for use? If so, run for your life. Amazon spys like crazy on all their devices.

The fire phone was a great well made phone with a lot of features that were not offered by other phones at the time. I bought when when they unlocked them from ATT, but was forced to replace it when Amazon and Google made them obsolete by eliminating support. That was my reason for comparing them to the black phone. If support and service is no longer available in the USA, then you are stuck with an expensive almost useless piece of equipment.
