Ono approached Pang and said that she should become Lennon's companion, and Pang declined, because she didn't think it was right. But Ono pushed it, and soon they were living together. Ono told Pang she was going to be living as Lennon's wife again, but Pang could still be his mistress, which she was for a few more years.
She started seeing Sam Havadtoy, who was about 25, in 1978. Lennon knew about him, but couldn't do anything about it. Ono was with him until 2000.
