Before this, no mRNA therapy or vaccine was ever approved for human use.

Is that statement true or not? If not, how do we KNOW that they are safe and effective.

You are aware the AstraZeneca uses a vector to induce mRNA production in the Cell

I do believe there is a difference between having an attenuated vaccine that targets the virus and produces a sterilizing immunity vs one that simply softens the course of the infection in myself - but does not prevent transmission and or reinfection. The former prevents me from ever getting it (and passing it along with or without mutations - it can't mutate because it can't reproduce). The later lets me get it again and again - each time, the virus can reproduce and mutate AND be passed along.

The Johnson and Johnson and Astrazenica are not an attenuated virus type. They are called adenovirus vector vaccines. It’s a little different. Probably better than way old school attenuated because it carries no risk whatsoever of getting someone sick with the virus if they have a compromised immune system.
But they are much safer than the mRNA vaccines.

The virus is a biotech virus and now they want their biotech solution.

This was their big chance to open the door to human mRNA vaccines.
