Now we’ve got to live with the wonderful Tappan Zee bridge being named for his father. Give me a break.
For me, the Tappan Zee Bridge will always be the Tappan Zee Bridge, just as the 59th Street Bridge, AKA Queensboro Bridge, on which my grandfather worked as a stone mason, now renamed the Mayor Ed Koch Bridge, will always be the 59th Street Bridge, and the Triboro Bridge, now renamed the Robert F Kennedy Bridge, will always be the Triboro Bridge.
The next think you know, that corrupt POS known as Andrew Cuomo will rename the New York State Thruway as the Gov. Andrew Cuomo Thruway which crosses over the Hudson River at its widest point, known as Tappan Zee, on the Gov. Mario Cuomo Bridge. Then again, why not think really big and rename the Verrazano Narrows Bridge after himself?
The entire Cuomo family, father and two sons, are an embarrassment to all Americans of Italian descent.
