Did I say he should not have taken AB’s for his staff infection? No I did not. My point was that by taking a “maintenance” dose of AB’s when there was not a current infection would open him up to continually having health problems.

Second of all if he has some sort of metal or other implant that cannot be removed and is colonized with staph, life long suppressive antibiotics are indicated.
