IANAL, but I think you actually have the means to carry it out for it to actually be a crime. Just talking about what you “should do” or “want to do” is hypothetical, especially if you can’t realistically do it, and thus not a threat.
But I don’t know all the details of what was said, or whether they had the weapons or the boats.
Oath keepers and three per centers are not right wing militia extremists. That label is so old and tiresome.
Whatever the average person now knows/remembers about the oath keepers is what this and similar voices tell them.
They probably will also now use the same adjectives and expressions used here to label and describe this and other groups on “the right” ... or “ultra-right” or “whatever-right” they’re pointing their emotional finger at.
Why wouldn’t they? Every voice they trust tells them the same stories and they naturally believe them.
People believe the con. How do you counter that?
Not an Oathkeeper, that is for certain. They (them) are targeting the Oathkeepers to develop a military that will follow illegal orders... and fire on US Citizens when the cabal orders them. Going to find it very difficult to find the loonies who would do that- maybe find out the hard way.
Utter nonsense trying to tie in Oathkeepers. And they are NOT a paramilitary group— that is the fantasy of the pervos at the Southern Poverty Law Center and shakedown offshore Foundation scammers.

Have a relative who’s a cop. I support the police but he said when they wrote up a police report they would have made Mother Teresa sound like she was Son of Sam. Anything that could be seen one or two ways is always written up to make it sound the worst way.
But then claiming their loss due to a boating accident would not need a “/s” after it.
Consider the source and the accusers. Unfortunately, they are guilty before they ever enter the courthouse. Their fate has already been decided, the process is just a show. What the left is trying to do is singling out certain elements of their opposition and persecute them in the hopes that the rest of the opposition will become fearful and choose silence. If you are not a leftist, the LAST place you want to be is in a courthouse.

The OK have been hitting out of the box for quite some time, not that I give credence to this story. That have strayed from their original mission (I guess it wasn’t sexy enough) and has become a pseudo militia.
I was in the VA OK and it was pretty much the same thing: no one wanted to do the hard work of educating, lobbying, and forming alliances— but everyone wanted to do militia training with a fantasy of “bugging out” to the rural areas. It made zero sense.
Plus they can find out all this in such a short amount of time and they sat on their hands all summer long while Anitfa/blm was burning, looting, murdering all across the country.

In a conspiracy you need two elements:
1. at least two people involved in a plan to commit an offence
2. an overt act committed by any one of them in furtherance of the plan
For example if you and I meet and plan to rob a bank, and part of the plan is to wear gorilla masks. THAT is not a conspiracy. If I go our and actually obtain the masks - THAT is a conspiracy.

It might seem that way from the leftist rat media onslaught, but it’s not.
Here’s evidence it’s not working. Go to YouTube and look at any of the standard rat media political news feeds: NBC, ABC, CNN, whatever. Select a video, then immediately hit pause so you’re not subjected to their drivel.
Now look below the video at the like vs dislike count. More often than not the dislike counter is much higher. Now scroll thru the comments. A vast majority are wise to the rat press being sycophants for the rat regime. People know the media is garbage.
Herr Goebbles is still alive and making all the plans for Soreass and the DemonRats.
