She is the ultimate authority at the Capitol like the president, being third in line for the presidency.

Then why would she be involved with calling for the Capitol Hill Police chief to step down? And that without the Capitol Hill Police Board getting involved.
“On Jan. 7, Pelosi said she had not talked to Sund when she called for him to step down.”
And why would she tap someone to lead the Jan. 6th security investigation? Just that action would lead any clear thinking person that she has more power than she or anyone else is letting on.
My point is that someone gave the order to rescind all security measures on that day. And if one person has the power to force someone to step down and also has the sole power to call for an investigation, then Pelosi just may be where the security buck stops.
